This client came to us after purchasing a partially built, Tuscan style home. They were going to finish it, it wasn’t a house she loved, and it wasn’t her style. It was up to us to bring her vision of an old world design to life.
Inspired by “late baroque” designs, we captured the essence of this era through the use of small sculptures, ornamental mirrors, tapestries and gold. Our clients children also had a great deal of input into their rooms and how they wanted them to feel. "Soft and elegant with monogrammed pillows", "primary colors with a "lofty" studio feel", "a space that could transition to young adulthood" were the descriptions we had to work with while designing for the children.
This luxurious home will take you back to the reign of Louis XV, where rich fabrics were aplenty and the devil was in the details. A true work of art.
It took an entire week to install this project but the love that went into the labor is something we will never forget. This project helped TDF secure awards for both Interior Design in a home over 3000 sqft. AND Best Design of a Theatre space.
