Bedrooms. They are the first thing you wake up to and the last thing you see before you close your eyes. They are important for many reasons and that's why we believe in putting in that extra effort. For today we want to focus on the anchors of the bedroom, the nightstands. Not only are they a place where you can show a lot of personality, but they are very functional as well as they are great for storage. We want to show you some examples of nightstands we have done in the past, as well as some new ideas for you to get inspired by. Whatever your style is, there is a nightstand for you. Enjoy!

Nightstand1

For those of you who like a more contemporary style, this one's for you. This moody color palette gives off a masculine vibe and we can't get enough!

Nightstand2

As much as we love a neutral calming bedroom, we also love a punch of color! This setup would make anyone feel cheery when waking up. This shade of red is to die for and we love how it brings out the red in the artwork. We went with a non-traditional lamp to mix things up and we love it's contemporary feel.

Nightstand3

Who doesn't want some glam in their life every once in a while! This look makes us feel luxurious and soothed with the monochrome color palette.

Nightstand4

Here in Texas, traditional style is still very popular. So we had to include this style here. A traditional nightstand setup will most likely include a carved wood nightstand with some intricate accents. Staying with a natural color palette is key. Browns, Tans, Gold, Greens, and Burgundy are great colors to incorporate to give it that traditional feel. Pick a lamp that's more detailed and throw in a piece of art and you're good to go!

Spring Up Your Home

1. Add a colorful tapestry for an easy pop of color. Because they don't require much to hang, this is a simple accessory you can add that's labor and damage free.2. Using plates/baskets as wall art is a great alternative to canvas. If you choose this route, you can switch out the plates and colors every season! When your furniture and large pieces are neutral you can really play with the accessories and easily switch things up when you need some change. Remember this when you are shopping for large items.
