These three design styles cover them all. Even within these styles there is a lot of variety. Just because you don't like one traditional room, doesn't mean your dream home isn't traditional. Color palettes and furniture style can turn you off of one room and on in another. Do you like sleek lines or lots of detail? Are you into minimal amount of furniture and accessories, or do you like to stuff you home with collectibles and art? These are the questions that you need to ask yourself and the answers will lead you to your style. Here's a quick rundown of these three styles so you can figure out yours.

Your wardrobe says a lot about you. Do you like colors and patterns? Do you tend to lean towards cozy fabrics like furs and knits? Are your clothes black and white with structure or do you like the ethnic patterns with drape silhouettes? The type of clothes you wear will most likely reflect the style of your home. You can even take the pattern from your favorite shirt and apply it to some pillows. Take your favorite pieces and study them. What do you like about them? Take those qualities and apply them to your home.

The type of mood you want to create is going to dictate a lot of your decisions. If you want to create a cozy environment you will want to choose a lot of soft fabrics, comfortable furniture, and a neutral or earthy color palette. If you're going for a formal and elegant feel, think neutrals, metals, and formal furniture with intricate details. If you want your home to be fun and playful, you'll need to use a very colorful color palette, use fun patterns, and choose interesting furniture. You don't want you home to ba all over the place. Choose one mood and go for it.

You could say we are in the business of transformations and as much as we love transforming other people's spaces, it was time we looked inward. So for the past few months we've devoted a lot of our time and effort to launching our new and improved website and logo. We are proud to finally present it to you. The before and afters are pretty drastic, but we are okay with that because, well...we like drama (the kind you get from a stunning entry, not what Martha did last summer). So without further ado, here it is, our new website.

Make sure when looking at each shelf that the items displayed don't have huge differences in size. You don't want a tiny statue right in between two large vases because it will look awkward. Instead layer that tiny statue in front of or on top of one of your other items.
